Taiwan Trip! 26 July 2006
We wake up super early that day.
Think is 8am ba.
Coz we need to catch our train to kaoshiueng.
Then travel to Fanshan, the "hotel".
so we had our breakfast for the day.
MacDonalds! haha. It is super cute lo.
Cheap and it is Pork.
Imagine u wanna change drink without paying extra single cents.
super nice. and their breakfast come with
iCe Lemon Tea. Can changed to Milo, Hot choc.
Take a look at the packaging! haha.
*while typing this, I was DC from NTU registration of subjects. Damn.
me and Wendy at the Taipei Train Station. While sebas is queing for tix. hee.
Dennis and me. Our first trip together!
Ok. Off we go to take the train.
Super funny. We don know how to take the train.
Apparently what was listed on the board was wrong!
and we nearly took the train tt lead us to the army camp!
haha. so funny lo. we was like stunned.
how come no ppl de. only alot of guys sitting near the platform.
until someone who saw us super lost,
and come to our rescue. Ppl there are just so helpful.
Manage to get to the train safely.
and our journey of 4.5 hrs begins!
This is damn long la.
When u got nth to do on the train. You can only take pics. haha.
Oh yea. At abt 2 hrs of the journey,
they will tell u that they are selling tidbits.
and tie Lu Bian Dang.
This "rice box" is meant to be sold to ppl who travel long dist.
They only have this for lunch.
It is really for the locals to eat.
it cost NT60 bucks. which is S$3.
Consider cheap with so many stuff inside.
But i think not all tourist will like it.
coz of the taste and food ba.
Personally, I find it ok.
but it is way too much la. I have to give to dennis coz I cannot finish. :p
Oh yea. It is in paper box. haha. the picture quite fun. tel u tt they only sell on the train. haha.
See how much they gave in such a small box. There is pork (main dish), seaweed(the black one, taste not bad), veg etc.
While we reach the train station.
We were like exhausted though we slp on the train?
haha. Then immediately have to buy return tix,
in case don have tix.
So we was like damn worried la. no tix to go back to taipei.
At the same time, look for ways how to go our "hotel"
Apparently nobody how to go.
coz it is damn wu loo? haiz.
haha. we was like opps. we were cheated by the toy house.
Rain was damn heavy. as we walked out of the station.
we were stopped by the taxi driver.
who managed to pursuade us to take the taxi.
he said it is abt the same as taking the bus.
and we believe him!
*I was unable to get AA206. Damn Damn. Waste my time!
The whole journey was scary.
Raining heavily. And the uncle was driving like 120Km/Hr?!
super fast lo. siao de.
The traffic in Taiwan is really very scary.
super scary too. haha.
The whole journey was like NT1700!!!! super ex sia!
Reached at the "hotel".
Ok. it is not a hotel ok. it is more like a resort getaway.
Apparently there is no customers except us?!
haha. Then we were like cheated by the website.
coz the room tt we purchased is supposed to slp 4 pax.
instead of 2 pax?
Haiz. No choice la. So we decided to take the 2 rooms lo.
since we paid liaoz.
No food = No dinner.
we need to get out of there to find food.
haha. So was told tt we can go shui di liao to eat seafood.
Have to take public transport.
goodness. how to take bus when there is no stand like singapore.
haha. and they are driving at full speed!
wah. in the end, we come to the resort of taking Taxi again.
which is another hole in our pocket.
Went to find the seafood tt they were saying abt.
stunned on the spot.
coz we don know wad to eat at all. their seafood is super different lo.
so we ended up eating at one of the eatery.
the food was ok.
make the guys feel tt they are eating at home.
heart warming lo. haha.
Ppl were saying tt they are expecting rain the next day.
which spoils our entire plan of going for seasports.
so worried tt we cannot get out tml.
we decided to go buy some snacks back.
Just in case, no food for us.
Though it is a small town. at nite it is very nice with all the lightings.
Took cab back again. :(
Went back to our rooms.
prepare to sleep.
Tml we are praying that we are able to get good weather.
Next day is waiting for us!
