Night Safari
After so long!
I finally went Night Safari tonight!
Supposed to be on Friday night.
But then it is raining.
So was called off.
It cost $20 per pax for the admission,
and $8 for the tram ride.
People who are going,
Please please take the tram ride.
If not, you have only visited half of the whole place.
Some of the areas is not covered by foot.
and the tram ride,
really bring you really close to the animals.
Some Misconception about Night Safari.
1. Cannot see the animals at all
Actually there are many many different species ard.
I guess it is just your luck that you cannot catch the animals on action.
In fact, you will be able to see most of the animals actually.
I missed only abt 4 animals.
coz they are nowhere to be seen. :(
They are night animals.
of course they need to hide themselves from their predator rite?
2. Most of it can be found in the zoo.
Not exactly actually.
Some of course can be seen in the zoo.
But then it is really very different to see them at night.
I think the real difference b/w zoo and night safari.
is I can see them on action in night safari!
Most of the time, in zoo,
they are lazing ard.
But then in Night Safari,
they are walking ard and eating.
OMG the scene is really nice.
The place is really nice I must say.
Hubby said that it is a high end zoo.
haha. cause it operates at night.
Alot of expenses I think.
It is so nice to walk in the dark.
in a jungle? haha.
Ok. Apart from outward bound k.
there are really alot of different animals ard.
some is really new to me.
They have to make sure of ppl's safety.
Some of the negative things.
The place is rather small.
We covered the whole area in about 2.5 to 3 hours, including the tram ride.
Judging at the operating hours,
I think it is ok? hehe.
then almost 1 hour (Waiting + the show) for the animal show.
Cannot missed it leh the show.
though the animals are not as many as compared to the zoo show.
it really takes effort to train them up.
especially most of the animals "work" on their own w/o the trainers ard sometimes.
If no tram ride, there is a big part of the place cannot be reach at all.
Quite disappointing when we wanted to head to that place after the ride.
The ride is about 30 to 45mins long.
I think due to the heavy traffic,
they kinda go quite fast today.
We went off quite fast.
The ride was nice.
With the wind ard you.
You are really in the jungle lo.
But with tourist who don listen to instruction,
it really can be annoying. blah.
Cameras are useless there.
Ok not all cameras though.
Provided you have a very good camera for night spots.
Because you cannot use flash and all.
Practically cannot take any photos.
If not all photos are black!
It's worth going!
The price abit steep la.
But then, being one of top tourist attraction.
i guess it is worth going leh!
The place is very nice.
A very very different experience on and all.
Different from the city.
and it is different from the zoo! :)
